When a project needs welders, it rarely comes down to one person. You need a crew that holds pace and quality for months at a time. That is what we deliver. Our TIG welders work in stainless process pipe, thin wall sections and hygienic installations, where one bad weld costs far more than a delay.
Every welder is directly employed by Work4s. There is no chain below us and no sub-suppliers. We handle pay, tax, insurance, paperwork, housing and travel, so you can focus on the site. If you are used to hiring contract welders through agencies, you will notice the difference: we take responsibility for the whole crew, not just the timesheets.
What the crew does
- Manual TIG 141 welding in stainless steel, typically 316L and 304L
- Orbital welding of process pipe for the food, dairy and pharma sectors
- Welding to the client's WPS with documentation for every weld
- Prefab in the workshop or on site, built from isometric drawings
- Close coordination with our pipefitters, so pipe and welding move at the same pace
Certificates and requirements we match
- Welder qualifications to EN ISO 9606-1 in the positions and materials the project requires
- Practical weld test before mobilisation, when the client or project asks for it
- Weld logs, traceability and NDT in line with the project quality plan
- Experience with hygienic requirements, surface finish and pipe cleaning
Typical projects
- Process plants in the food and dairy industry
- GMP pipework in pharma and biotech
- Steam, district heating and PED pipework in energy and process industry
- Tank installations and skids
How we mobilise
We start by agreeing trades, numbers, certificate requirements and a target start date. Then we screen candidates, check documents and experience, and run weld tests where needed. The crew arrives with its own foreman, gets a site induction and reports weekly on progress, manpower, quality and safety. We never promise a start date we cannot keep. We confirm it once we know the full requirements.
